The Others Of Us

Ireland and Ohio are the settings in this dual timeline story when two family members centuries apart have visions that connect them. 

When Daniel McDonald sets sail to immigrate to America in 1833, he had no idea he was leaving behind a daughter in Ireland.  An unclaimed letter delivered to his family almost 200 years later sets the course for the journey of Charlotte “Charley” Branson to uncover family secrets.

At a low point in her life, Charley follows the voice in her head urging her to move to Ohio to live on the ranch she inherited. She then realizes that her grandmother had discovered secrets she wanted Charley to find.  Imagination, courage, perseverance, and belief in ancestral connectedness move Charley on a journey towards what we can learn from the inner voices that speak to us and a deep appreciation for those ancestors that came before – the others of us.
